Pastor Moshiu T. Knox is a native of Pace, Mississippi. Pastor Knox began working in the church at the age of eight where he served as the pianist for a number of community churches and choirs. Pastor Knox received his early education at West Bolivar High School in Rosedale, Mississippi. Upon graduating with honors, Pastor Knox received both an academic and track scholarship to Rust College in Holly Springs, Mississippi. While at Rust College, Pastor Knox pursued a degree in Mass Communication and sung with the Rust College choir. Pastor Knox did not forget his roots and it was not long before he was called to serve as pianist for Hears Grove Baptist Church in Byhalia, Mississippi. He served in this capacity until his enlistment in the United States Air Force.

Upon entering the Air Force Pastor Knox received an Associate in Allied Health Science degree. Pastor Knox fulfilled his military duties serving as both an Aeromedical Staging Facility nurse, responsible for enplane and deplane patient care and a Certified Flight Nurse, providing patients with in-flight nursing care from origination to the destination facilities and executing patient evacuation during aircraft emergencies. Pastor Knox served in these capacities during both Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm earning him the status of veteran.

While stationed at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois Pastor Knox married his high school sweetheart Cynthia Lucas and it was there they began their family respectively Mioshiua, Miadonte’ and Moshiu T Knox, II. Pastor Knox also attended Southern Illinois University in Carbondale where he received a Bachelor of Science in Workforce Education and Development. In June 2008 Pastor Knox was ordained at St. Peter’s Church, Pace, MS under the leadership of his father, Henry Knox. He attended Tennessee School of Religion where he received a Bachelor & Master of Theology.

In August 2018, Pastor Moshiu T. Knox was called to serve as Pastor of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church. Under, Pastor Knox leadership, he has instituted various ministries such as Pastoral Care, Hospitality, Congregational Care, Nursery, Retiree Ministry, Food Pantry, unity fellowship with local Pastors & preachers and starting this upcoming summer he will start an enrichment day camp. Pastor Knox is very dedicated to the growth of the youth department and since his leadership the Sunday school and Bible Study classes has also grown. Pastor Knox motto is #WINNING, “There’s No Failure In God”.

Pastor Knox is an instructor and serves on the technology board for the National Baptist Convention, USA, INC- Congress of Christian Education. He is also an active member of Phi Beta Sigma, INC.
